Friday, 21 January 2022 – Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, went back to his roots to reminisce the old days when he was struggling with life.
The controversial MP was brought up in abject poverty in Nyalenda Slums, Kisumu.
His mother used to sell chang’aa to put food on the table.
Babu visited his former hood in the company of his mother, sister and wife and shared photos of the house where he was brought up in.
He also interacted with his childhood friends.
“With my Wife, my Mum, and Siz, we went back to Nyalenda slums in Kisumu to say hello to my homies.
“Behind me was our bedroom and where we are seated was/is the sitting room.
“The “ceiling board” is also very visible. Bought some sofas to make it a little admirable. God in it,” he wrote.
