Saturday, January 22, 2022 – Former Kiambu County Governor, William Kabogo, has offered President Uhuru Kenyatta a piece of advice as he retires in August this year.
After serving for two 5 year terms, Uhuru, 61, is set to go home in his rural home in Ichaweri, Gatundu South constituency, where he will continue with family businesses.
However, with the President going home in the next seven months, he is spending his time planning on who will be his successor.
But Kabogo, who was having an interview with one of the local TV stations, advised President Uhuru Kenyatta to quit obsessing about who will succeed him and instead focus on leaving a prosperous and peaceful country.
“If I were Uhuru Kenyatta, I would not be concerned about who comes after me.
“I would consider leaving this country in a more peaceful and prosperous state,” Kabogo stated.
