Saturday, January 22, 2022 – President Uhuru Kenyatta will soon tour the Mt Kenya region to launch several development projects and also explain to the residents why he fell out with his deputy, William Ruto.
According to Nyeri Town Member of Parliament, Ngunjiri Wambugu, the main goal of President Uhuru’s visit is to thank the people as well as leaders for supporting his presidency.

A source close to the presidency said the Head of State will disclose the sins that his deputy committed which led to their fallout.
The President is also expected to drum up support for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who he has publicly said he wants to be his successor in August.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta will give an explanation why he fell out with Deputy President William Ruto and he will give the direction he wants Mt Kenya region and the country to take,” A source close to the presidency told a local daily on Friday.
