ATWOLI speaks on killing former Kabete MP GEORGE MUCHAI after a video emerged implicating him in the cold-blooded murder – You won’t believe what he said

Thursday, February 10, 2022 – COTU Secretary-General, Francis Atwoli, has come out guns blazing after being implicated in the cold-blooded murder of former Kabete MP, the late George Muchai.

Addressing the elephant in the room, Atwoli denied ever having a hand in the murder of Muchai, who was also his deputy in COTU.

He urged those with evidence that will help with the investigation into Muchai’s murder to bring it up.

His remarks came after a section of social media users linked him to Muchai’s death while sharing a video of the MP lamenting that his life was in danger.

But in response, Atwoli said, as a family man, there is no way he could have been involved in the planning of the MP and fellow trade unionist’s murder.

“As I said at the time then, in my community if you have a family you can’t plan and execute evil or kill, but whoever holds the truth you are free to release for justice as opposed to propaganda,” he said.

In the video clip shared by Activist Boniface Mwangi, the late MP is heard lamenting over a story he said was fabricated to link him to a love triangle case where he is accused of eloping with someone’s wife.

He said the story was cooked by people who want to eliminate him and blame his woes on the alleged love triangle issue.

The MP was embroiled in a protracted tussle with Atwoli whom he accused of impropriety.

He had called for his resignation and threatened to launch a petition to kick him out.

Unfortunately, he was assassinated on February 7, 2015, in Nairobi before he could make good his threat.
