Wednesday, February 9, 2022 – Gatundu South Constituency Member of Parliament, Moses Kuria, has sent a strong message to the Mt Kenya electorate and leaders following the appointment of former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba as the head of international relations in Deputy President William Ruto’s campaign team.
In a statement on Wednesday, DP Ruto said that his campaign team welcomes Namwamba’s wealth of experience as a politician, leader and lawyer.
Ruto’s team stated that they have closely worked with Ababu Namwamba over the past 10 years in many areas and have come to value his sound leadership, empathy and experience.
However, immediately after his appointment, Moses Kuria penned a message on Facebook, telling Mt Kenya residents to be wary of Ruto because he is dishing slots without considering them despite supporting his presidential bid.
Kuria indirectly said Namwamba will be appointed Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary if Ruto forms the government in August.
“Congratulations my friend Hon. Ababu Namwamba.
“And just like that Foreign Affairs is gone,” Kuria wrote on his Facebook page.
