See what Luhyas did to WETANG’ULA yesterday in front of RUTO after he endorsed NATEMBEYA’s rival, WAMALWA! Kwa ground kweli vitu ni different!

Thursday, February 10, 2022 – Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula was left speechless after Trans Nzoia residents heckled him in the presence of Deputy President William Ruto and ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi for endorsing former Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya’s bitter rival.

Wetangula was drumming up support for Kiminini MP Chriss Wamalwa, who has expressed interest in succeeding outgoing Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba.

Trouble began when Wetangula stood to address the crowd in a bid to woo them to support the Kiminini MP to become Trans Nzoia’s next governor in the August 9 General Election when he was met with pro-George Natembeya slogans.

“Chris must go! Chris Must Go! Chris Must Go!” the visibly agitated crowd chanted interrupting Wetangula’s speech session at the rally.

Efforts by the Ford Kenya leader to calm the audience were futile until he changed his topic of discussion.

Speaking moments later, Wetang’ula tore into the fast-rising Democratic Action Party of Kenya DAP-K, branding it as a disguise of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

“ODM is like a wolf dressed in ship skin. We as Kenya Kwanza will give you the candidate for governor and that is Chris Wamalwa,” Wetang’ula said.

The Trans Nzoia governor race is being billed as a two horse-race between Natembeya, allied to Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja movement, and Wamalwa who is being fronted by Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by William Ruto.
