Thursday, February 10, 2022 – Nairobi County Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has asked Kenyans to elect former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as the next President since he is Kenya’s Nelson Mandela.
Mandela is a former South African President who went to prison for 27 years for opposing apartheid in his country.
According to Passaris, Raila Odinga is the ‘Mandela of Kenya’ based on his contributions throughout his political career.
Passaris also said President Uhuru Kenyatta is supporting Raila Odinga’s presidential quest because he knows how he contributed to Kenya’s democracy, particularly the second liberation.
“Baba is 20 years my senior but he has more energy than me because I believe his leadership is inspired by God.
“He is our Mandela. It is right for our president to campaign for Baba. Kenyans want Raila to be the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya,” Passaris said.
