Thursday, March 17, 2022 – Wiper Democratic Movement party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, has urged the Kamba community to support his party so that he can be able to impeach former Prime Minister Raila Odinga should he betray him after winning the presidency in August.
On Saturday, Kalonzo was among hundreds of leaders who endorsed Raila Odinga’s bid in August and also joined the Azimio La Umoja Movement bandwagon.
Speaking at a funeral ceremony in Machakos County on Wednesday, Kalonzo begged the Kamba community to support the Wiper party since he needs numbers to impeach Raila in case he betrays him like he has been doing in the past.
“I appeal to all leaders in this region to join Wiper so you can give me strength in Azimio, whose key decision-makers are myself, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mr. Odinga,” Kalonzo said.
“With many Wiper members we will be in a position to charge Mr. Odinga if he fails to honor the deal we have signed,” Kalonzo added.
