Wednesday, March 1, 2023 – Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has finally revealed that it is President William Ruto who engineered his sacking as African Union Head of Infrastructure and Development for Africa.
Raila was shown the door last week and AU chairman Moussa Faki said his role will be taken by the New Partnership for Africa’s Development commonly known as NEPAD.
In an interview with KTN on Tuesday night, Raila revealed that President Ruto asked the AU chairman Faki to fire him from the role.
According to Raila, Ruto met Faki in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia [on February 17] and asked him to remove him from the powerful role.
To cement Baba‘s assertion that Ruto was involved in his sacking, Kenya kwanza Alliance apologists led by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, supported the move as they insisted that Raila was fired from his job.
“For the first time in his life has accepted a decision. Thank you, AU for firing Raila for his continuous undermining of a legitimate government of Kenya led by Ruto,” Cherargei stated.
