Please, Shut up and stop saying Kenya would have collapsed if someone else was President – PAULINE NJOROGE tells RUTO

 Monday, October 23, 2023 – Renowned communications and media strategist, Pauline Njoroge, has urged President William Ruto to shut his mouth and stop saying that if someone else was president, Kenya would have collapsed.

Speaking on Sunday at the Revival Sanctuary of Glory in Riruta Satellite, Ruto said he was glad to be Kenya’s president during these challenging times.

Ruto said the the country would have collapsed had someone been elected president during the 2022 presidential poll.

The head of state said the country requires someone with leadership qualities like him who is not afraid to make firm decisions.

He assured the country that he would steer the country in the right direction to ensure everyone was proud to be a Kenyan.

“I am glad that I am Kenya’s president during these hard times. Such times need someone like me. Had someone else been elected, Kenya would have collapsed. I want to assure everyone that the country will move in the right direction, and we shall be a nation that everyone is proud of,” Ruto said.

Commenting on social media immediately after Ruto’s remarks, Njoroge, who is a fierce critic of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance regime, urged Ruto to shut up because if he had been the President of Kenya during the COVID-19 pandemic the country would have collapsed.

Njoroge went further and accused Ruto of overtaxing Kenyans and yet he is bragging that he is happy as President of Kenya.

“Sasa huyu, si anyamaze tu! If he was president during Covid-19 the country could have collapsed.

“He has made life so tough for Kenyans through punitive taxes, his inability to stabilize the shilling, his inability to restore confidence in the market, corruption in his government, etc, yet he is here bragging about how he is happy to be the president at such a time?”
