PASSARIS sends a message to Gen Zs who have been saying ‘RUTO Must Go’ - Isn't this an insult to the protesters?

Monday, July 29, 2024 - Nairobi Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has sent a message to Gen Zs who have been calling for the resignation of President William Ruto.

Using the “Ruto Must Go” slogan, Gen Zs have demonstrated across the country, urging the President to resign over allegations of bad governance and the appointment of corrupt public officials.

In a statement on X on Sunday, Passaris urged Gen Zs to recognize that Ruto is working to unite the nation by nominating four Orange Democratic Movement party members to his cabinet.

Pessimists will always be pessimistic. Even if the truth stared at you in the face you couldn’t see it. Your mind is one-tracked. #RutoMustGo I got news for you.

"The music changed. You still dancing to the old tune. The President @WilliamsRutois working to unite and serve Kenyans.

"You on the other hand are struggling to remain relevant. Be more patriotic and show some love for Kenya. #PeaceAndLove,” Passaris wrote on X

The four ODM leaders who were nominated to the cabinet are; Hassan Joho (Mining and Blue Economy), Wycliffe Oparanya(Cooperatives and MSMEs), John Mbadi (Treasury ), and Opiyo Wandayi ( Energy and Petroleum)
