Here is exactly why and how President UHURU pushed me out of Government in the second term and brought in RAILA – Reveals RUTO

Wednesday, March 16, 2022 – Deputy President William Ruto has continued to expose the source of his deteriorating relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta that saw him exit the Jubilee Government.

The duo’s relationship has broken down in the past four years over differences related to President Kenyatta’s succession in 2022, but a constitutional firewall cushions the Deputy President from being sacked.

The former Agriculture Minister continued to get under President Uhuru’s skin on Tuesday due to what analysts say was his unending public criticism of the Jubilee administration he co-formed with his boss.Speaking at the Kasarani gymnasium in Nairobi after accepting his nomination as the UDA presidential flag bearer in the August 9th General Elections, Ruto said he voluntarily walked out of the Jubilee Government after the President asked him for space to work on his own personal legacy.

“The president did inform me that he needed space to work on his personal legacy as the 4th president. I obliged. This led to my eventual retreat to the margins of a government that I had participated in forming,” William Ruto said.

The second in command said it has been an honour serving Kenyans in that capacity, having been the first elected Deputy President.

The Deputy President further said he has always discharged his duties faithfully as the second in command and at no time did he fail to deliver on any task he was assigned by his boss – President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I will forever be grateful to my friend the President for this opportunity,” he said.

Ruto further continued his onslaught against his boss accusing him of weaponizing Government agencies, promising to streamline Government departments that have been taken captive by President Uhuru within 100 days if elected the next President.
